The President was told by New York firefighters whom were cleaning up rubble after the Twin Towers fell, “Whatever it takes.” I stand by the President to do whatever it takes to root out terrorism. We must hunt down the cold-blooded killers one by one to keep our freedoms and keep our families and friends safe. Furthermore, I am of the dictum, “If you are not for us; you are against us.”
It used to be that our country was protected by two large bodies of water. We must continue to take a proactive role to diplomatically work with foreign leaders to create peace. In so doing, we must urge dangerous nations to cease proliferation of weapons of mass destruction as we did in Iraq. War is always a last resort.
The men and women serving so honorably in our military deserve the best training, the best pay, and the best equipment possible. Our Department of Defense needs to remain strong for our safety, for our economy to prosper, and for a more peaceful world.
Too many illegal immigrants have been coming into our country. The problem escalates when they are returned to their home country, but they still continue in our country. Congress presented a bill to at least reduce that. The President signed the bill into office in October 2005, and it was the right thing to do. We need to continue taking a proactive role in keeping our borders safe. Finally, as the President often urges, “We want to know what you are going to do when you come here, why you are coming here, what you are bringing in, what you are taking out, and how long you are going to stay,” we must support him on this initiative because we saw what happened on 9/11. Citizens of the USA trained terrorists whom were hiding like wolves in our country, to attack our own people. We must not allow that to happen again.
To further protect our families at home, I support the right to bear arms and will continue to uphold the second amendment.
