OLMSTED TOWNSHIP – Rep. Dennis Kucinich is opposed by four challengers in the Democrat Primary this March 4th. Jason Werner, a candidate for the Republican nomination, to hopefully be in the November General Election, explains in his own words below the differences between him and the Democrat candidates.

This is going to be brief compared to my breakdown of my Republican Primary opponent. Clearly, there are major differences between me and the communist Democrats.
Firstly, unlike many people, I am not complaining that Congressman Dennis Kucinich is not working enough for the District and rarely votes in Washington. My take is this: I believe we’re better off if he stays out of the District and stays out of votes in Washington, so long as he is our Congressman.
All five of the candidates talk about job creation, health care ideas, and how to educate and raise parent’s children. That is communism. I do not believe it is the government’s responsibility to do any of that. Even Jim Trakas has joined them with the crazy promises of job creation, funky health care ideas, and promises to fund more education. I believe in people to create jobs. I believe in families to provide health care (it’s merely our responsibility to legislate). I believe in parents to educate and raise their own children.
Joe Cimperman, my city councilman when I lived downtown, claimed last night during a Congressional Candidate’s Forum in Lakewood while seated appropriately at the far left of the table (Dennis Kucinich was coincidently in the middle due to his last name and I was appropriately seated at the far right) that he created 5,000 jobs as a city councilman. My advice to everyone when they hear that is: Run. This is a politician taking credit for allegedly creating jobs. That’s dangerous. And I must comment on Joe Cimperman saying he is a son of Northeast Ohio. In my opinion, he’s saying “it took a village to raise him.” I’ll tell you that I was raised by my family and I am not ashamed to tell you that (even though I was often a brat). I love you Mom. I love you Dad. I love you Grandma and Grandpa.
Thomas O’Grady, one of my teachers in seventh grade and my former mayor (I previously lived in North Olmsted) announced his candidacy in an elementary school auditorium during school hours. And then he answered questions from the students regarding his candidacy. In my opinion, he took those children against their will and undermined their parents. And in my opinion, it was weird and cowardly. And during that announcement (I watched it online), he thumped: Education, jobs, health care. He literally encouraged the children to go right along with him in his saying: “Education, jobs, health care.” I believe in freedom. I believe in those children’s parents to train their children. And I hope he understands children – and all of us for that matter – were once in their mother’s womb, which of course he fails to realize the problem of abortion (like all the candidates do except for me).
Barbara Anne Ferris constantly complains about how Dennis Kucinich is not working for this District. I’m encouraging him to not work for us because I believe he’ll merely cause more problems. Why would anybody complain about the most liberal congressman in the country not working for us. I believe in arguing the issues and working for solutions rather than complaining.
Rosemary Palmer might actually be more liberal than Hon. Dennis Kucinich on all her issues, in my opinion. Specifically, she goes as far as expressing on her Web site her support for “LGBT.” She says on her “LGBT Issues” page that she “supports all families,” she wants to “repeal ‘Don’t Ask Don’t Tell,’” and provide health care for low-income Americans with HIV/AIDS. I accept the truth of what a family is. In other words, two men together or two women together is not a family in my opinion.
http://www.rosemarypalmerforcongress.com/pdf/uploaded/position_lgbt.pdf is where you can find her LGBT Issues. I’m thankful that Rosemary Palmer understands there are significant differences between me and Jim Trakas, as she mentioned that last night during the Congressional Candidate’s Forum in Lakewood.
In closing, I hope voters open their eyes to the fact that more government programs are not the answer. I encourage conservatives to switch to the Republican Party (which is in a major transition right now). Although our Republican Party through the liberal Republican-run General Assembly and horrible governors for 16 years (Bob Taft and George Voinovich) helped run our state into the ground, I hope you see that there are Republicans whom are not a part of the establishment and are looking to be real. That’s me: I’m not a puppet. Just like Dennis Kucinich does not represent all Democrats (even though most of them are filthy anyway), our Party’s leadership, from the ground up, is getting back to where it needs to be, and I’m a good example of that new integrity and dignity. We conservatives support life, family, real marriage, a strong military, the right to bear arms, less taxes, and less government.
