OLMSTED TOWNSHIP – Friends of Werner Political Action Committee has been conducting a one-question telephone survey for nearly a week regarding taxes being imposed on citizens.

The question being presented to elected officials throughout the county is:

Would you support elected officials imposing a tax or tax increase without the consent of the people through a vote for that particular tax?

Although the question requires a yes or no answer, participants are given room to clarify their answer and/or add a quote to their answer.

The survey is merely for the public’s awareness of where their elected official stands on the issue of the question. Results will be made available to the public Friday, August 17, 2007.
